A community-first web project

Celebrating the cultures that make Needham home.

The 2024 website invited neighbors to a free, family-friendly afternoon of culture tables, food, music, dance, and connection. More than 20 countries were represented through a cooperative effort led by local civic and community organizations.

This static edition preserves the strongest visual and editorial evidence of the original campaign while replacing a multi-gigabyte WordPress installation.

Designed to welcome everyone

Diversity, unity, and culture.

The original site balanced practical event information with vivid photography from the prior gathering. Clear participation paths helped residents host a table, perform, volunteer, or support the event.

Festival energy

One community. Many traditions.

The campaign’s strongest visual language came from the people who filled the hall: artists, performers, culture-table hosts, volunteers, and families.

Cooperative effort

Created with local partners.

The 2024 event was co-hosted by the Needham Human Rights Committee and Needham Diversity Initiative, with support from the Needham Resilience Network, Needham Rotary Club, Needham Council for Arts & Culture, and other community partners.
